talking
The problem with growing up in a family that doesn't talk about emotions is you become an adult and you're not quite still sure how to talk about your emotions
You go and do it, but since what you grew up with is "don't" you don't know how much you're supposed to do when you "do"
How do you not overshare? Who actually wants to listen?
I think I'm supposed to mask it more than I have been. Hold those things in tight, be normal because most people won't care
Or maybe wait until the party has gone low, when there's a subtle shift in the mood cause it's going to end soon and it's now or never, connect or die...
Or maybe I just need to get better at talking.
